Dear Friends of Hope Community Church,

Thank you for your interest in the Free Market Small Groups here at Hope Community Church. Without hesitation, I can promise you that getting involved in one of our small groups will make a positive impact on your life.

We have adopted the "free market" philosophy for small groups because the "one size fits all" approach simply doesn't work for the majority of us. You are unique among all the people on the earth but that fact need not leave you feeling alone. There are others with the same interests and desires as you and spending time with those people will likely lead to an enhanced sense of belonging. Some of these folks may end up as some of the greatest friendships of your life!

The "free market" approach allows you to find a group of people you enjoy and talk about things that hold your interest. In addition, you will not be tied down to a long-term commitment. Our semesters last about three months, allowing for your changing schedules or changing interests. These small groups, in the words of one pastor, allow us to "do life together." That's what we want to facilitate, a congregation of people who are growing closer to God and closer to each other.
