Is KNEKTiX.com affiliated with a particular local church?
- No. All of the partners of the company attend the same church, and Brett is on the pastoral staff. But, none of the work connected to Knektix.com is related to that church.

Is there a guarantee on the KNEKTiX database?
- Yes. Satisfaction Guaranteed is the word of the day, and we are committed to it as well. Our goal is to make life easier for leaders in churches. If you aren’t satisfied with the product and we can’t fix it for you, then you are entitled to a full refund.

What content is preloaded in the management software?
- Once you set up an account with KNEKTiX, you are given full access to every function of the modules. We do not preload data from your church into it for you, but we do provide standard document resources that are common (i.e. follow up letters to leaders and section leaders, rally week confirmation documents, scheduling documents, etc.). Each of these documents is provided in either Word, Excel or a PDF depending on ease of use, and they can be fully manipulated by the user. In addition, under the Manage Semesters module, we preload a standard semester preparation schedule that includes 37 fundamental tasks, placement for specific dates and who those tasks are assigned to. Again, we want to make it as easy as possible.

- Does KNEKTiX.com partner with other Christian organizations?
- Well, we are brand new, so I suppose the answer is ‘no’ (but only because we haven’t had a chance!). Do we want to? Of course. Win/Win partnerships with like-minded organizations is vital to our business.

- Will KNEKTiX.com release additional content?
- Yes. Our new content is driven by the needs of our customers. Because one of our owners oversees the small group ministry in his church, those requests come almost daily from his staff and those he is in contact with. If a customer has a need they would like to see met, or simply an enhancement, they just need to let us know. We are a small business that listens to every single comment and idea, and does everything to make sure that enhancement is made available as soon as possible.

- When are updates made available to clients?
- One of the benefits of online data management is that our clients do not have to wait for the next CD to come in the mail. As the changes are made, the client sees those changes instantly on the KNEKTiX interface, and will be notified by email accordingly.

- Can I get my own documents, forms or graphics loaded on our management system?
- Yes, of course. The KNEKTiX system is to be an all-in-one resource for ‘everything small group’. We have an easy upload structure to get all of your resources in one place. Files of up to 500kb each can be uploaded, but if you have a specific need for a larger file, just contact us. We’ll try to work it out.

- What if we already run an internal management system?
- No problem. We did also. The transfer is very easy as long as your current software has exporting features. Our staff will stay on the phone with you each step of the way to help you with this process. Just contact us to set up an appointment.

- How long will it take for KNEKTiX.com to establish our church’s software system?
- From the time you contact us, we will be in touch with you within 24 hours for a phone appointment. Everything will be set in less than an hour, although the data entry may take some time. If you are starting from scratch, we suggest that you set aside a few hours to get all the info in for your leaders. If you are transferring data, the time table is much shorter. And if you don’t want to mess with it, let us know, and we talk about alternative pricing for KNEKTiX to take care of it for you.

- How long will it take to get my applications scanned and in our database?
- From the time we receive the documents, you can expect to have them sorted and assigned to your leaders within 5 business days.

- Will my original documents be returned to me?
- No. Once we scan and upload all of your documents, they are shredded and discarded.

- What if my scanned documents are misplaced?
- Email or call us, and we will have them corrected within 48 hours. If there is an emergency of some kind, let us know and we will get it done quicker for you.

- Is my data safe?
- Yes, we use state-of-the-art servers (Dual 2.4GHz Intel Xeons, Red Hat Linux 7.3 and 9.0, 512 - 2048 MB of RAM) that are located in four of the most prestigious data centers in the world. These servers provide multiple & redundant links to the Internet, backup power supplies & generators, climate controlled air conditioning, electronic security systems and 24 hour a day hardware and network technicians on site.

- How are files organized on my KNEKTiX Admin page?
- Once you log on to the site, you will be taken directly to a home page with various options for the modules. Navigation is very easy, so that at any point you can swap between one function and another. Again, all of the modules were created to be used by multiple people at the same time, and to be accessible at any time from any location in the world. One of our owners even uses it on his PDA when traveling. In the future, we hope to release a version specific to PDA’s that is less graphic and more text-driven.
